It’s a shame the background color isn’t coming through as clearly in the pics as I see them.  But check that out! I did narwal voluntarily without prompting! Still haven’t quite nailed it but whateve. It was good practice.  Loving the grey copic markers for shading.

Before shading Pic (almost forgot)

  1. Hi! Your tiles are lovely kilo! I STARTED as a watercolor artist so here is a tip to achieving a smoother look even with your cheapest: take a large watercolor brush, saturated, and get the entire tile good and wet before adding any color. If u make a mistake it's super easy to "lift" the unwanted pesty part(s) with a soft cloth or tissue if your tile is wet. Just take an appropriate size brush for the area, get it good and wet the dab with the towel. U can even take a razor and lightly scratch the paper to remove deeper oopsies. Go over that area with a good eraser to smooth it afterward. HAPPY TANGLING. Experiment with the wet tile then going over your marks with another brush to blend. Start with scrap w.color paper to start till u get the hang of it. Hope this helps u discover more fun ways to incorporate watercolor cuz so far, you're a natural!
